The Jr. System Administrator will provide assistance with routine system administration tasks and maintenance, while also assisting in scaling our server architecture to serve our growing customer base. They will work as part of the technology team and report to the Director of Software Development.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day systems support
- Manage Domain/DNS configurations and changes
- Take over patch management and ensure a base level of security
- Respond and take ownership of routine server issues
- Help maintain documentation on server assets including deployment and recovery
- Help ensure backup integrity and schedule
Goals
- Implement a centralized system and service monitoring solution
- Implement a backup and recovery plan for the web application servers
- Assist with the development of scalability plans for web applications
Requirements
- 2 Years Experience in GNU/Linux support
- Associates in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
